Fully Funded Graduate Scholarships for International Students, South KoreaKorean Government is offering 780 fully funded scholarships for international students from 146 countries commencing Master degree, Doctoral degree, & research programs in 2018.The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) 2018 will be available at 64 universities in South Korea. The scholarship program will cover full tuition fees, settlement & monthly allowance, Korean language training, medical insurance, tickets, research allowance, etc. The application process will be divided into 2: by the embassies & the universities.

Level of Education

Scholarships available for Master degree, Doctoral degree, & Research programs.

Subjects or Fields of Study

Scholarships available for a wide range of subjects offered at the 64 universities.

Amount of Scholarships

This scholarship program will pay full tuition fees, Korean language training, living allowance, settlement allowance, medical insurance, research allowance, tickets, etc.

Duration of Scholarships

Scholarships available for the duration of your study:
  • 1 year Korean language training + 2 year Master program, or
  • 1 year Korean language training + 3 year Doctoral program

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria below:
  • Applicants are welcome from 146 countries outside South Korea.
  • Applicants must be under 40 years old.
  • Applicants must hold Bachelor degree for Master program, and hold Master degree for Doctoral program.
  • Applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically.
  • Applicants with certified scores in Korean (TOPIK) or English (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS) will be given preference.
  • Applicants in the field of engineering, technology, and natural science might be given preference.

780 (seven hundred and eighty) scholarships are available for this program.
